Frequently Asked Questions And Links
Q: How far in advance do we have to book you?
A: Generally we begin booking 9 - 12 months in advance of a wedding event.
Please do not hesitate to call for an event that is just around the corner, we have
booked events in the past very close to the date of the event.
Q: How can we reserve our wedding date, what is your policy?
A: Often we will have multiple inquiries for specific dates and in order to make
things easier for everyone, we have a first come first serve policy regarding event
bookings.
Q: We would like to reserve our date for wedding photography. What should we do next?
A: Reserve our services with an initial non-refundable retainer of $500.00. Thirty days before
the Event the balance equal to 50% of the total package is due.
*Upon completion of the services agreed upon the remaining 50% of the balance is due.
*If an album is included in package. Total balance must be paid before the album is to be
created
Q: Will I have an interview in person with the photographer?
A: Rich Frye will personally meet you in person for an interview. He generally will show
up at the request of the client at their residence with a portfolio and sample albums
to view at no obligation.
Q: As the event gets closer is there a limit on how much time I can have asking questions
towards the event I have scheduled?
A: From beginning to end communication is vital to the success of the event. I promptly
respond to all calls and emails. The most effective way to address questions of your
event is by emailing at richfryephotography@comcast.net.
Q: What style of photography do you use?
A: We use a variation of formal traditional & informal photo-journalistic styles with a
creative flair. During the wedding ceremony, we rely on an unobtrusive photo-journalistic
style of photography and during posed portrait sessions we employ a more traditional style.
Q: At what point during the ceremony do you take formal photographs?
A: We like to recommend shooting formal photography directly after the wedding
ceremony, this allows wedding guests time to enjoy a moment before the reception
ceremony gets underway.
Q: What cameras/lenses do you use?
A: We use professional quality Canon digital cameras and lenses. As standard
equipment we use two camera bodies with different lenses. We also have backup
camera equipment.
Q: What do we receive after the wedding?
A: If you purchased the High Resolution DVD of images for reprints, it will be complete and ready for pick up or for local delivery within 5 weeks. We can also mail it to you. Digital Proof book pending client choice of cover photo 5-6 weeks.
Photos can be posted online within a month of the event for availability to purchase
by guests if included in package.
